KEVLAR FABRIC and Aramid Yarns
Aramid yarns are more flexible than many other high-performance counterparts such as glass and carbon and are thus easier to go through the subsequent fabric-making processes, be it weaving, knitting, or braiding. Care should be taken, though, because Aramid yarns are much stronger and much less extensible than the conventional textile yarns, which could make the fabric formation process more difficult. Aramid fibres are sensitive to UV light, and unprotected ones will discolour and lose strength with prolonged exposure.
Its weight is 1/5 of steel,strength is 5-6 times of it, modulus is 2-3 times of steel,tenacity is 2 times of it.
It can be weaved mainly by para-aramid fiber 200D 400D 600D 800D 1000D 1500D 3000D. Weave pattern including plain,twill,satin.

It is weaved by 1500D Dupont yarn with twill weave pattern.
